Parking
The Stables has a small car park for the use of patrons and volunteers. Authorized parking is free.

Drivers must:
  • obtain permission to park,
  • register their vehicle details in the theatre foyer on arrival,
  • be on the theatre premises as a patron or volunteer, and
  • remove their vehicles from the car park on leaving the theatre.
Parking enforcement is in operation from 10 am to 8 pm daily.   read more
The conditions of parking are on signs in the car park (example here). In the event of failing to comply with any of these conditions, you agree to pay a parking charge of £100 within 28 days, reduced to £50 if paid within 14 days.

Stables members may assume that they have permission to park while they are on the theatre premises as patrons or volunteers. However, please note that this permission does not extend beyond the time that you are on the theatre premises or to times when you are not attending the Stables.

On arrival at the theatre you must enter your name and vehicle registration number in the parking book in the theatre foyer.
If you have pre-booked tickets for an evening performance and wish to park at the Stables from 5 pm (before the theatre opens at 6 pm), please leave a prominent note in your windscreen stating the full name under which your tickets were booked. Please then register your vehicle details in the theatre foyer before the performance starts.

This option is not available on Sundays or before 5 pm.
To assist local residents and business people, permits are available for use of the Stables car park during our quieter hours. The cost is £40 per month, paid by Direct Debit. The number of permits is limited.

The permit allows daytime parking for one vehicle (identified by registration number and not transferable) on Monday to Saturday until 6 pm. Permit holders will need to vacate the car park between 6 pm and 8 pm and on Sundays—our normal parking enforcement will operate at these times. We do not enforce parking restrictions between 8 pm and 10 am.

Although it is unusual for the car park to be full during the hours of the permit, a vacant parking space is not guaranteed. There are a few occasions (for example, occasional Saturday matinees and car boot sales) when the car park will not be available to permit holders.

For further details and to request a permit, please email .
We will occasionally suspend parking enforcement to allow others to park for one-off occasions, when this will not inconvenience users of the Stables. Requests should be addressed by email () or in writing to Michael Willard.
If you are issued with a parking charge notice in error and you can demonstrate that you were on the theatre premises as a patron or volunteer at the time that the ticket was issued, please email as soon as possible.

All other appeals and payments are handled by Car Parking Partnership, PO Box 597, Northampton NN4 7XN, www.carparkingpartnership.co.uk.
There is a small public car park on The Bourne, which is free after 6 pm. On-street parking near the theatre is restricted to residents at some times.
